Professional Care For Your Piano

Fine Piano Tuning

220-300

Your piano should be tuned every six months to a year. If your piano has gone many years since its last tuning, it may require a pitch raise (pitch correction). Essentially this means that your piano will have to be tuned multiple times, depending on how far out of pitch its gone.

String Replacement

45-75

Plain wire string replacement is $45 per string. Copper wound bass strings will have to be duplicated at a professional string maker. $75

Action Repair

30-50

There can be a thousand reasons why you may have a sticky key. The culprit may be a fallen penny or guitar pick wedged in between the keys. In other cases there may be broken parts inside the piano.

Damp Chaser Installation

Call For Pricing

If your piano is located in a harsh environment, such as on the ocean or in the dry desert, I highly encourage that your piano has a Damp Chaser climate control system installed.

Action Regulation

Call For Pricing

Top notch action regulation is critical for how the pianist feels when playing. Out of regulation action may feel sluggish, heavy, and just difficult to play. Extreme, detailed measurements are taken into account to ensure the perfect action cycle.

Hammer Shaping and Voicing

150

Your hammers may have harsh grooves on the surface due to years of constant hammering on the strings. This creates a hard surface on the hammer and can create a harsh tinny timbre. Shaping the hammers back to their tear drop shape will greatly enhance the tone of your piano.
